Braided protection applied over the harness provides a conforming, flexible and durable layer that extends assembly service life. Unlike heat-shrink tubing or split loom, braided sleeving applied in-process wraps directly to the harness geometry, including along branches and across complex routing paths.

Abrasion-resistant cable braiding
Cables that run through conduit, over chassis edges, past rotating components or through high-movement sections of a machine or vehicle are at constant risk of jacket wear. Once the outer jacket is compromised, insulation and conductors are exposed to moisture, contamination and mechanical damage.
Abrasion-resistant braiding applies a tough, conforming layer over the cable that absorbs the mechanical wear before it reaches the insulation. The braid extends cable service life and reduces the frequency of maintenance replacements and field repairs.
